"Being Female", a writer's (Eileen Myles) account of gender affecting literary acknowledgements.
For those of you who don't know, Eileen Myles is a poet who has had a long career dating back to the 1970s. Among her contemporaries were Richard Hell, with whom she performed a reading of her own literature a couple of years ago as a part of Barbara London's exhibition featuring 'Raw Edges', a selection of readings by modern poets, at MoMA.
